Offering best-in-class software, Ideagen delivers trusted, meaningful solutions and meets the needs of its education customers with SaaS enabled software, Ideagen CompliSpace.
Its aim is to provide streamlined workflows and easier policy management, so teachers and educators can spend more time focusing on what they do best: teaching and connecting with students.
Ideagen is committed to and understands that schools must stay compliant amid constantly changing laws, regulations and standards. Its solutions correspondingly help schools embed a compliance culture that staff can wholeheartedly embrace.
“One of our key strengths is the breadth of expertise we bring to the table. Customers can access a team of experienced professionals, including child safety experts, former principals and skilled business managers,” says Tim Kelly, VP, product and head of compliance content. “This shared knowledge helps schools foresee compliance challenges and respond effectively, allowing them to handle regulatory requirements confidently.”
An issue that Ideagen CompliSpace enables schools to deal with is potential mistakes or problems due to school administrators being overwhelmed by the ever-changing nature of regulation.
Kelly adds, “Our solutions simplify compliance by providing clear guidelines and automated reporting to help schools meet their legal obligations and become strategic in their approach to managing risk and compliance.”
The platform’s features include:
customisable checklists
a user-friendly dashboard that provides real-time insights into risk and compliance
Ideagen CompliSpace also addresses the need for effective risk management, especially concerning student safety and data protection. Its tools for tracking and managing risks in both on-campus and off-campus activities allow schools to improve safety measures and create a secure environment.
Additionally, mobile accessibility enables staff to report issues on the go, along with interactive training modules to ensure all employees are well informed.
“We aim to reduce the workload for staff by streamlining tasks and promoting collaboration, allowing educators to focus more on teaching and engaging students,” says Kelly. “We continuously work to improve and enhance our customers’ policy management experience to make it easy to locate and understand what’s required.”
Ideagen CompliSpace resources can be customised to help users apply policies more effectively. Overall, this drives continuous improvement and supports high governance standards.
There is a strong internal future focus on enhancing their solutions with a self-service approach to GRCPM. Ideagen CompliSpace has also released a module to elevate cyber security practices, along with free resources and training to help schools protect sensitive information and defend against potential threats, in response to data showing how great a concern cyber breaches are for schools.
Kelly says, “In response to feedback, we’re also evolving our SafeExcursions solution to improve risk management processes for off-campus activities. In short, our solutions aim to make compliance easier, enhance safety and improve how schools operate.”
