Brittany Hedrick is the school chaplain and student support officer at Bomaderry High School, where she’s all about providing genuine care and wellbeing support to students, staff and the whole school community. With her warm and student-centred approach, she creates an environment where young people feel truly heard, valued and empowered.
In her role, Hedrick offers everything from mentoring and emotional support to guidance for students dealing with personal challenges, school life and their future goals. She collaborates closely with staff, parents and external support services to boost student wellbeing and build a positive, welcoming school culture.
Whether she’s leading small group programs, having one-on-one conversations or running school-wide initiatives, Hedrick is all about encouraging resilience, personal growth and a strong sense of belonging. Her passion for holistic student development shines through as she works tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing space where students can truly thrive – academically, socially and emotionally.
