Mark Norberry is a versatile and accomplished secondary educator with a wide range of expertise and responsibilities. As a science teacher, he delivers engaging and effective lessons in areas including junior science, elective astronomy studies, physics and engineering studies. He has also taken on the role of coordinating the implementation of his school’s online learning management system, which involves training staff and shaping the future direction of the system.
Beyond these duties, Norberry has taken on leadership roles in sports education, convening the NSW Combined Independent Schools Girls Football Championships and managing the selection of players for the state team. He has extensive experience in teaching at the primary level and has excelled in running high school science transition programs that inspire students to explore the wonders of science in a laboratory environment.
Norberry is passionate about football and has achieved notable success as a coach in the education sector, leading the U15 Girls’ team to a top 16 finish in the 2022 Bill Turner Tournament. He is also involved in coaching a talented female football program that identifies and develops elite players in the region. Outside of school, he enjoys playing football and golf, exploring the great outdoors through camping, and sharing his love for animals with others.
Norberry’s diverse range of skills, experiences and interests make him a valuable asset to any educational institution. His dedication to inspiring and empowering students, combined with his leadership in sports education and commitment to ongoing professional development, sets him apart as an exceptional educator and leader.
