“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”

Kristi-Leigh Paterson began her career as a secondary teacher in 2017 at Faith Lutheran College Redlands (FLCR) and has since found a true passion for curriculum development, specifically project-based and inquiry-based learning.
Her desire to engage students in the classroom and equip teachers with effective strategies has led her on a continuous journey of learning and growth. Paterson is always seeking out new research and innovative approaches to ensure that her students have the best possible learning experiences. She is particularly thankful for the opportunities and support that FLCR has afforded her to make these changes possible.
Over the years, Paterson has seen firsthand the impact that these approaches can have on student engagement and achievement. By providing students with opportunities to explore real-world problems and take ownership of their learning, she has seen them develop a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
As she continues to develop her skills and knowledge, Paterson is excited to share her passion with others and inspire fellow educators to embrace new approaches to teaching and learning.
Outside of the classroom, Paterson is a wife and new mum, which has been her greatest joy and accomplishment. She has two border collies that she enjoys taking to the local dog beach. She has a passion for sports and continues to play futsal locally.
