“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”

Ella Camporeale is the curriculum leader for art, design and digital technologies at Westminster School Adelaide. She has been teaching in the South Australian independent school sector for the past decade across technologies and the creative arts.
Camporeale has a master’s degree in architecture and a graduate diploma in teaching and learning. She is passionate about sustainable design, ArchiEd and the integration of emerging technologies in secondary schooling.
Camporeale’s interest in immersive learning in secondary education was exemplified through the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia’s STEM VR Project run in 2022. The project stemmed from the VR School Study, led by associate professor Erica Southgate of the University of Newcastle, and brought together teachers, researchers, and industry in a world first. Through the project, she contributed to research on creativity and the impact of VR on enhancing learning.
Camporeale is currently pursuing an HDR in education and is a marker and moderator for design, technology and engineering subjects for the South Australian Certificate of Education.
