Gabrielle Kempton has dedicated more than 35 years to education, with a passion for reshaping how planning, teaching and learning can genuinely foster creativity. Her master’s research in 2017, focused on creativity theory, remains widely cited and has provided both the intellectual and practical foundation for Vivedus.
As Head of Research and Development at Vivedus, Gabrielle leads the design of an integrated model for teaching, learning and professional growth, now used in schools across Australia and soon to expand globally. Her work empowers educators to embed sustainable, school-wide practices that support the teaching and assessment of creativity. The goal is to move students beyond basic content recall and towards generating new knowledge and developing higher-order thinking skills.
In partnership with the University of Melbourne, Gabrielle is also co-developing the first nationally recognised credential in Creative Intelligence, a rigorous framework that captures and validates the complex capabilities of modern learners.
Her contribution is both innovative and far-reaching: a fully research-informed approach that brings together theory, professional development, practical tools and meaningful assessment. Gabrielle’s work equips teachers with the confidence and clarity they need to grow the creative capacity of every learner, preparing students not just for exams, but for a rapidly evolving world.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics. I believe in hiring great talent, trusting them, and pushing boundaries because innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe.”
His experience isn’t limited to Canada. Ibrahim has worked in the US and UAE, which shaped his global perspective and comfort with adapting to different markets. He thrives on risk, viewing setbacks as stepping stones to progress.
