Braydon Giles is a dynamic and accomplished educational leader with experience across both government and independent sectors. As head of middle school at St John’s Anglican College, he has directed and elevated programs and initiatives for students across Years 7–9. Leading through this pivotal stage of development for young adolescents has prompted a refined approach that prioritises holistic growth for every student.
In addition to his school leadership, Giles also serves as vice president of Adolescent Success, the leading association dedicated exclusively to the education, development and growth of young adolescents. By actively shaping the direction of an association dedicated to adolescent education, he continuously engages with leading experts and remains abreast of emerging trends in education. He also served as Treasurer of the Joint Council of Queensland Teachers’ Associations, which amplifies the collective voice of teacher associations across the state. These voluntary leadership roles have enabled him to network with and learn from educational experts nationwide and globally and have equipped him with the strategic and relational capacities for navigating the complexities of contemporary educational leadership.
In 2024, Giles was awarded the New Voice in School Leadership Scholarship of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders, recognising his emerging influence and commitment to shaping the future of education. His voice continues to resonate through publications in leading journals and educational magazines, as well as through presentations at national and international conferences. At the heart of his work is a deep advocacy for the profession and a belief in the transformative power and enduring impact of educators.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics. I believe in hiring great talent, trusting them, and pushing boundaries because innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe.”
His experience isn’t limited to Canada. Ibrahim has worked in the US and UAE, which shaped his global perspective and comfort with adapting to different markets. He thrives on risk, viewing setbacks as stepping stones to progress.
