Brigit Keel is a dedicated educator and global advocate hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. She was born and raised in the vibrant city, where she developed a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds. After completing her high school education, she pursued a teaching degree at the prestigious University of Cape Town.
Following her studies, Keel embarked on an international journey, seeking diverse experiences in different educational settings. She first ventured to Switzerland, where she worked as a teacher, immersing herself in the country’s rich educational traditions. Later, she relocated to the United Kingdom, expanding her pedagogical horizons and gaining valuable insights into different educational systems.
Driven by her thirst for knowledge and her desire to explore new opportunities, Keel eventually made her way to Australia. In this vast and multicultural country, she found herself taking on various roles outside the realm of traditional education. She thrived as a sales coordinator for New Balance Australia, leveraging her excellent communication and organisational skills to foster meaningful connections with clients and customers. Additionally, she assumed the responsibility of training within the organisation, honing her ability to inspire and develop individuals.
Currently, Keel holds the position of Global Connection Leader at Sacré Cœur, School of the Sacred Heart, in Glen Iris, Melbourne. In this influential role, she is committed to transforming education and empowering young individuals to become global citizens. She is passionate about implementing future-focused programs that equip students with the skills necessary for employment in an ever-evolving world. Her vision extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries, as she actively seeks opportunities to develop international partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
Keel’s unwavering dedication to education and her unwavering commitment to providing transformative experiences for young people make her a driving force in her field.
