Ian Morris is an accomplished educational leader with more than three decades of experience in NSW public education. Since 2017, he has proudly led Bomaderry High School, where his leadership is defined by a strong commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing and meaningful community partnerships. Under his guidance, Bomaderry High School has been validated as excelling in all 14 elements of the NSW Department of Education's School Excellence Framework and is currently undergoing a major rebuild to deliver modern, future-focused learning environments.
As a member of the NSW Secondary Principals’ Council State Assembly, Ian is widely regarded for his strategic vision, collaborative leadership and focus on creating high-performing teams. His ability to build strong business and industry partnerships has positioned Bomaderry High School as a leader in innovative and inclusive public education, preparing students for success in an ever-changing global landscape.
Across his extensive career, Ian has consistently demonstrated empathy, integrity and purpose in his leadership. Passionate about lifelong learning, he continues to drive initiatives that promote staff growth, student achievement and an inclusive school culture where every learner has the opportunity to thrive.
