Braydon Giles is a passionate and accomplished educational leader with a wealth of experience spanning both government and independent school sectors. As head of middle school at St John’s Anglican College, he has played a key role in shaping and enhancing programs for students in Years 7–9. Guiding young adolescents through this pivotal stage of their development, he has honed an approach that puts holistic growth and wellbeing at the forefront for every student.
Beyond his work at St John’s, Giles serves as vice president of Adolescent Success – the leading association dedicated to the education and development of young adolescents. In this role, he actively helps shape national conversations around middle years education. His commitment to the field also earned him a place on the editorial committee for the next edition of the American Middle Level Education’s (AMLE) flagship publication, The Successful Middle School: This We Believe. In November 2025, he represented both St John’s and Adolescent Success at the AMLE25 National Conference in Indianapolis, where he connected with global thought leaders and deepened his strategic insight into contemporary educational leadership.
Giles’s dedication and emerging influence have been widely recognised. In 2024, he received the New Voice in School Leadership Scholarship from the Australian Council for Educational Leaders. His insights and advocacy for the profession continue to be shared through leading journals, educational magazines and presentations at national and international conferences. Most recently, he was named as one of The Educator’s Most Influential Educators 2025, a testament to his strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to the future of education.
At the heart of Giles’s work is a deep belief in the transformative power of educators and a strong advocacy for the profession – ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics.
