Jan Maresca is the Executive Principal of Stretton State College, one of the largest P-12 colleges in Australia, with an enrolment of 3,500 students and over 400 staff. Her passion for education was sparked by the transformative influence of her own high school teachers, who inspired her, believed in her and encouraged her to push beyond her limits.
For over 20 years, Jan Maresca has dedicated her career to leadership that prioritises people, relationships and the creation of a strong school culture. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that schools should be places of inspiration, joy and growth. At Stretton State College, she has worked tirelessly to foster an environment where both students and staff can thrive.
Under her leadership, the college has made positive education and wellbeing central to its strategy, ensuring that everyone in the school community is supported in reaching their full potential.
