David Kolpak serves as the principal at Trinity College North School (EY-10), where he leads with a strong focus on student wellbeing. Previously, he held the position of Head of Junior Years at St Peter’s College, where he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing wellbeing programs for students aged 3-16, ensuring that the principles of positive psychology are woven throughout the curriculum.
With over 30 years of experience in education, David has established himself as a respected leader, educator and speaker in the field of wellbeing. His expertise has garnered invitations to present at both national and international conferences, showcasing his commitment to advancing the conversation around wellbeing in schools. As a facilitator of Visible Wellbeing, he is passionate about adopting a whole-school approach, ensuring that every aspect of school life is grounded in the principles of positive psychology.
David’s dedication to nurturing the potential of others shines through in his leadership and teaching roles. He is also an active speaker in the field, regularly sharing his insights and ideas on various podcasts.
By integrating the sciences of learning and wellbeing, David aims to create a school environment where all members can thrive.
