Lamb holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), is a Certified Practising Accountant and a qualified Justice of the Peace. Jodie Hayat leads Immanuel’s Primary School with warmth, experience and a deep belief in the importance of childhood. With over 20 years in education, she is passionate about helping every child feel seen, safe and supported to grow with confidence. Hayat holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Learning Innovation and brings a thoughtful, future-focused approach to learning and leadership. She also chairs the Immanuel Early Learning Centre Advisory Committee, working closely with families and educators to build strong, positive foundations that support each child’s learning journey.

Rob Fuller commenced as head of school (Years 10–12) in 2024. He joined Kingswood College from Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School, where he was director of curriculum. He is a passionate teacher of politics, history and English and has held roles such as year level coordinator and curriculum leader across the middle and senior years. He is deeply committed to supporting students through their VCE journey and enhancing teacher practice. Director of innovation and technology, Austin Telford, has driven the systems and infrastructure that make Immanuel’s ambition practical. Under his guidance, the college has built Immanuel Intelligence – a private, in-house AI platform designed specifically for the school.
Developed as a strategic priority, the platform gives staff a secure, centralised tool that can automate administrative tasks, generate learning insights and help identify students who may need support. It can structure documents, build tables and streamline workflows. Data collation jobs that once took days can now be completed in under a minute, freeing teachers and operational staff to focus on what matters most: connecting with students and improving learning. Rather than replacing relationships, AI is used to protect and deepen them by reducing noise and repetition in staff workloads.
Behind the scenes, innovation at Immanuel is highly collaborative. The technology and innovation team leads many initiatives, but staff from across the college are encouraged to share ideas, trial new approaches and give feedback. Some projects begin as small pilots and grow; others, like Immanuel Intelligence, are developed in-house in response to clearly identified needs.
External expertise is brought in where it adds value, as seen in work with Paul Hamilton on early coding and robotics in primary years. Importantly, the college also recognises the power of innovating in school operations, using technology to support HR, administration and curriculum support teams in ways that are often overlooked in the sector.
