Donella Beare has held the position of principal at St Stephen’s School since 2016. St Stephen’s School is a co-educational school of the Uniting Church situated on three campuses in the northern suburbs of Perth – Duncraig, Carramar and Hepburn Heights, Padbury.
Donella has more than 25 years of experience in education, including teaching, senior leadership and executive roles, governance and administration. Her interests and passions centre on teacher training, women in leadership, the changing face of education and professional learning. She has sat on a range of education and business committees, including on the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia board.

With over 30 years in education, Rosemarie Dunn is a strategic leader with experience in diverse educational settings, including leadership roles in Japan. Known for her vision and empathy, she drives initiatives that enhance student wellbeing, academic outcomes, and staff engagement.
Currently Head of Campus at Duncraig, Rosemarie oversees students from Early Learning to Year 12, balancing curriculum innovation with a focus on wellbeing. Her leadership in international student recruitment and cross-cultural education has enriched learning communities, fostering global engagement. Rosemarie is dedicated to creating inclusive, future-focused environments where every student is empowered to thrive.

A native Western Australian, Bennet Andrews commenced his teaching career in Hong Kong and then worked in London before settling in Perth. As a Head of Department and House Head at Scotch College, he developed a passion for pastoral care, which operates in harmony with his enthusiasm for the transformative power of Drama education. As a Head of Campus at St. Stephen’s School – Carramar, he works closely with students, parents and teams of teachers to improve the PK–12 school experience and develop the “whole person” in preparation for the world beyond.

Rob Gotti
Director of Finance and Administration
Rob joined St Stephen’s School in 2017 and currently leads the Finance, Property Services, and Information Technology teams. He also serves as Council Secretary. He thrives on the diversity of his role, taking great pride in supporting his teams and making difference across the School community.
Rob began his career as an auditor with Deloitte before moving into a variety of senior commercial roles across the manufacturing, mining, defence, FMCG and oil and gas sectors. His transition into the for-purpose sector began several years ago, where he gained valuable experience working with a disability service provider – an experience that deepened his commitment to values-driven leadership and community impact.
Rob is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and an Associate member of the Governance Institute of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business.

Steph is an experienced HR professional with over 25 years of diverse experience spanning from private, not-for-profit and corporate sectors, both locally and internationally.
She has been part of the St Stephen’s School community for more than 10 years, contributing to various areas before transitioning to the People and Culture team. This diverse experience has given Steph a broad understanding of the School’s operations and unique culture.
Driven by a deep passion for people, Steph thrives on building meaningful relationships across all levels of an organisation. She believes that being authentic and leading with integrity are key to creating real connections and trust. Her dedication to creating positive and inclusive workplace environments reflects her unwavering belief in the power of strong, authentic leadership.

Chris Furner has held a number of teaching and leadership positions across state and independent schools. A career highlight has been the completion of a PhD on how to boost teacher learning across all career stages as a means to improve practice and accelerate student learning outcomes. She enjoys developing whole-school staff development initiatives and professional learning programs that inspire and encourage teachers and leaders and coaching them towards “outstanding teaching”.

As a seasoned business manager of independent schools for over 15 years, Lily Ng brings to Hills Grammar her vast experience and in-depth knowledge in the commercial management of independent schools as successful businesses.
Ng is acutely aware that independent schools have all the fiduciary, financial, risk management and governance duties legally required by businesses. She expects and delivers the very best management and conduct with the highest integrity, with the best interests of Hills Grammar as her central focus.

She has a degree in business and over 20 years of marketing and business development experience. Napoli started her career in public relations and event management before moving into marketing and business development roles in the professional services sector, particularly corporate law firms.
