Marise McConaghy is a highly respected educator with deep expertise in girls’ education, leadership development, staff mentoring, wellbeing and community engagement. With a background in teaching English and drama, she brings a strong appreciation for the arts and their role in shaping reflective, sincere and empathetic young women. McConaghy is widely admired for her ability to inspire courage, kindness and thoughtfulness in her students — qualities that closely reflect Queenwood’s values of truth, courage and service. Belinda Moore is the deputy principal at Queenwood, where she leads with a strong focus on academic excellence and student wellbeing. Holding a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Educational Leadership, she brings wide-ranging experience in teaching, curriculum design and pastoral care. Moore is known for her calm, thoughtful leadership and strategic approach, always focused on helping each girl thrive. A committed advocate for girls’ education, she works closely with staff, students and families to create an environment that is inclusive, aspirational and caring, reflecting the core values of Queenwood and its commitment to nurturing confident, capable young women.

Anni Sandwell is the head of junior school at Queenwood, where she leads with a clear focus on student agency, digital wellbeing and evidence-based learning. With qualifications in education, leadership and gifted education, she brings a strong foundation to her role and a passion for supporting the whole child. Sandwell has championed initiatives that promote safe digital habits, such as delaying smartphone use, and builds strong literacy skills through the Science of Reading framework. She also values unstructured time, encouraging creativity and resilience through her “boundaries, basics and boredom” approach. Her values-driven leadership nurtures confident, curious and capable young learners.

Sue Kerr is a seasoned educational leader dedicated to student wellbeing and the development of authentic, values-driven leadership. As Queenwood’s director of wellbeing, she leads with empathy, integrity and a deep belief in nurturing the strengths of others. Holding a Master of Student Wellbeing from the University of Melbourne, Kerr is a passionate advocate for building strong, connected school communities. She places a particular focus on meaningful parent engagement, working closely with families to rebuild parental confidence and foster collaborative partnerships. Kerr’s work is grounded in the belief that strong relationships between home and school are key to helping young people flourish.

Allison McCulloch is Queenwood’s director of curriculum, bringing a strong academic foundation through her qualifications in economics, education and religious education (BEc, MA, DipEd, and GradDipRE). She oversees curriculum design and delivery across Years 7–12, including both the HSC and IB Diploma Programme, ensuring a rigorous, inclusive and future-focused academic environment. A passionate educator and writer, McCulloch is a strong advocate for evidence-based teaching and learning. She also champions student wellbeing through initiatives such as the Smart Study program, which supports healthy learning habits. Her leadership reflects a commitment to excellence, balance and lifelong learning.

Ann Brewer is an accomplished leader in education, leadership, and organisational behaviour, joining Queenwood in June 2025. With extensive experience as a researcher, executive and educator, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the school. An emeritus professor at the University of Sydney and former deputy vice-chancellor, Brewer has also held roles as director of research at The Scots College and foundation dean at the University of Newcastle’s Sydney campus. As a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an accredited executive coach, she is a passionate advocate for women in leadership, widely respected for her mentoring, scholarship and strategic vision.

Cathy Cox commenced the role of head of middle school at the beginning of 2022, being a familiar face to the school community as director of languages. She is an extremely experienced educator and leader, having begun her leadership journey at “Churchie” and then as deputy at St Margaret’s School – Ascot. She is filled with a passion for the Japanese language and everything Japanese. Cox’s other passion extends to the students in her care and their holistic wellbeing and progress. She also leads a group of dedicated staff committed to the middle school students and community.

Jeremy Godden is the head of junior school and a leader with experience across all ages and stages of schooling, including metropolitan, regional and remote settings and both the public and independent education sectors. With a particular interest in the developmentally diverse junior years of schooling, Godden enjoys working with the team of highly capable and equally passionate junior school educators. He joined Lindisfarne in 2017 as the head of middle school before commencing as head of junior school in 2022.
