Leadership
Principal Stuart Marquardt is an experienced P-12 independent school principal, highly regarded in Australian education for his ability to bring about school improvement and build school capacity. Prior to his commencement as principal of Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, he completed Leadership – An Evolving Vision at Harvard University and was awarded a prestigious Klinginstein Fellowship to Columbia University to complete a program on 21st Century Education and Leadership. He joined Lindisfarne in 2016.

Charlotte Lush is Lindisfarne’s deputy principal and previously held the positions of head of senior school for three years and director of creative and performing arts. Her career has seen her work with distinction at a number of outstanding schools in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. He joined Lindisfarne in 2015.

Kate Cornell has been a member of the Lindisfarne leadership team since 2021. She brings with her a wealth of experience from independent schools in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Cornell has a particular interest in student and staff wellbeing, focusing on fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. She is passionate about helping Lindisfarne achieve its potential to become a world-class establishment and has a deep respect for the traditions and values in the independent sector. As a senior English and drama teacher, Cornell is dedicated to inspiring a love for literature, theatre and critical thinking in her students.

Head of Middle School
Cathy Cox commenced the role of head of middle school at the beginning of 2022, being a familiar face to the school community as director of languages. She is an extremely experienced educator and leader, having begun her leadership journey at “Churchie” and then as deputy St Margaret’s School - Ascot. She is filled with a passion for the Japanese language and everything Japanese. Cox’s other passion extends to the students in her care and their holistic wellbeing and progress. She also leads a group of dedicated staff committed to the middle school students and community.

Jeremy Godden
Head of Junior School
Jeremy Godden is the head of junior school and a leader with experience across all ages and stages of schooling, including metropolitan, regional and remote settings and both the public and independent education sectors. With a particular interest in the developmentally diverse junior years of schooling, Godden enjoys working with the team of highly capable and equally passionate junior school educators. He joined Lindisfarne in 2017 as the head of middle school before commencing as head of junior school in 2022.

Caroline Jeffries has been the dean of studies at Lindisfarne since 2014. She has also held positions in leading schools in Sydney, London and the tertiary sector. Jeffries is a science teacher who joined Lindisfarne in 2004 and has a keen interest in equipping students for life beyond the school classroom.

Kane Bradford oversees the school’s teaching and learning agenda, with a particular focus on harnessing strategic partnerships to the benefit of our staff and students. He brings significant experience from his previous work as a teacher and leader in independent schools to his leadership spanning senior roles at the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) and the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).

Constantine Osuchukwu joined Lindisfarne as chaplain in 2021. Previously, he was the parish priest of St Matthew’s in Wendouree, Diocese of Ballarat, Victoria. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and Theology), a Masters of Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Community Development. Osuchukwu brings experience in a variety of parish roles, plus ministry work in prisons and the tertiary sector.
