Corey Tavella has proudly served as Principal of Thomas More College for the past seven years, leading the College with a strong commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and community. Passionate about creating opportunities for every student to thrive, he fosters a culture where learning, belonging, and personal growth are at the heart of school life.
Corey is dedicated to building meaningful partnerships with families, staff and the wider community, ensuring Thomas More College continues to grow as a place where students are inspired to achieve their best and become confident, compassionate young people.

Shannon Bertram has served as deputy principal at Thomas More College for the past six years, bringing a collaborative and student-centred approach to leadership. He is committed to fostering a school culture where every student and staff member feels valued, heard and a strong sense of belonging.
Working closely with staff, students and families, Shannon helps create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence, growth and connection. He is passionate about building positive relationships across the College community and supporting young people to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Ruth Taylor has been a valued member of Thomas More College for the past 25 years and currently serves as assistant principal - religious identity and mission. She is deeply committed to nurturing the College’s Catholic ethos, leading with compassion, faith, and a strong focus on connection and care.
Ruth plays a key role in strengthening the spiritual life of the College, ensuring that faith and values are embedded in everyday learning and community life. She has also helped establish meaningful outreach programs, including connections with women’s shelter initiatives, providing students with opportunities to engage in service and live out the College’s mission through action.

Tracie Dawber is business manager at Thomas More College and, although new to the team, has already made a significant impact across the College community. Bringing extensive experience from a corporate background, she provides strong and considered leadership in supporting the College’s operations and staff.
Tracie works closely with teams to strengthen systems, build positive connections and support the smooth running of the organisation. She also shares her passion for community and teamwork beyond the workplace, including coaching some of the College’s basketball teams.

Hayley Siddons, PhD has served as assistant principal - teaching and learning at Thomas More College for the past three years. With a strong background in science and mathematics, she is passionate about supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the College.
Hayley is committed to helping students build confidence and achieve strong outcomes in their SACE journey, with a focus on finishing school well-prepared for their next steps. She works closely with staff to strengthen classroom practice and create engaging learning experiences that support every student to grow, succeed, and reach their potential.

Briony Forster is assistant principal - learning diversity at Thomas More College. She is deeply committed to supporting learning diversity across the College, ensuring that every student is provided with the adjustments and support they need to access their learning. She works closely with staff to build inclusive classroom practices and strengthen support structures for students with diverse learning needs.
Briony is also a strong advocate for EALD students, supporting their language development and engagement in learning. In addition, she collaborates with the pathways and transitions team to help students progress confidently through their schooling and into their future aspirations.

Joshua Boden is assistant principal - student wellbeing at Thomas More College. He is passionate about supporting student wellbeing and creating a school environment where young people feel safe, supported and able to thrive.
Joshua works closely with the wellbeing team, staff, students and families to strengthen wellbeing practices across the College and ensure students are cared for both personally and academically. He is committed to building positive relationships and fostering a culture where every student is supported to reach their potential and navigate their schooling journey with confidence.

Margaret Leau-Sulusi brings over 20 years of banking experience to her role as business development manager, having started with Westpac in 2005. Her background includes lending support, senior lending roles and branch management. Leau-Sulusi partners closely with mortgage advisers, providing product expertise and strategic guidance to drive strong client outcomes. Known for her collaborative style and responsiveness, she is passionate about building trusted relationships and delivering customer-focused results.

From there, he moved into Pacific Premium Funding as a financial planning and analysis leader in 2012 and was a key resource in the evolution of the business, first with the successful sale to Macquarie Pacific Funding and then the following progression into IQumulate Premium Funding, where he is now the commercial manager.
As commercial manager, McMillan leads a team that is responsible for commercial analysis and business support, identifying and reporting improvement initiatives, and the securitization and treasury functions of the business.

Stephen McMillan first entered the financial services Industry when he joined GE Capital as a finance analyst in 2008, from which he progressed through roles working both onshore and offshore. From there, he moved into Pacific Premium Funding as a financial planning and analysis leader in 2012 and was a key resource in the evolution of the business, first with the successful sale to Macquarie Pacific Funding and then the following progression into IQumulate Premium Funding, where he is now the commercial manager.
As commercial manager, McMillan leads a team that is responsible for commercial analysis and business support, identifying and reporting improvement initiatives, and the securitization and treasury functions of the business.

Thomas More College is an innovative 7-12 Catholic College in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, and indeed the school for choice in the northern suburbs. Our College is a success story because we aspire for more for our students.
Originally built as the regional Parish school for the spanning north, we now educate almost 1,300 students.
