Stuartholme School is built on a holistic educational approach and unwavering commitment to nurturing young women (Years 5–12) who are confident, capable and prepared for sustained success beyond the school gates.
The community is defined by the Sacred Heart value of Cor Unum, meaning “One Heart”. Students and educators are welcomed into a warm, inclusive and relational culture with personalised learning pathways, wellbeing programs and leadership opportunities empowering students to flourish. Educators benefit from a highly engaged professional environment, with collaboration and continual growth embedded into the school’s DNA.
As Queensland’s highest-ranked Catholic school and among Australia’s top 100 schools, Stuartholme’s reputation relies on academic excellence, innovation, a global vision and a deeply embedded Sacred Heart ethos.
The school’s future-focused curriculum, strong leadership and unique blend of day and boarding cultivate:
resilience
independence
connection
The school’s success is shaped by principal Daniel Crump and a dedicated leadership team. Their collective focus on professional growth, innovation and evidence-based teaching has resulted in strong academic outcomes, inclusive practices and exceptional staff retention. Strategic investments in the integration of AI tools, immersive technologies and career-focused programming have expanded student agency and readiness for life after school. There has also been investment in new facilities, such as the Junior School building, reflecting a proactive approach to meeting the needs of today’s learners.
Dynamic and inclusive are the touchstones of the school’s co-curricular programs, spanning sport, the arts, technologies, enrichment, social justice and special interest clubs, which could include rowing before dawn, performing in the actor’s ensemble or coding in the Robotics Club. These opportunities are available to students at every year level to explore passions, build confidence and develop leadership.
Stuartholme embraces future challenges and has rapidly expanded its use of emerging technologies, including virtual reality in classrooms, augmented reality in the Junior School Sandbox and advanced audio systems for students with hearing impairments.
Similarly, diversity, equity and inclusion are fostered through scholarships for Indigenous students, inclusive enrolment pathways, and culturally inclusive celebrations like Harmony and Reconciliation Week. There is also a Reconciliation Action Plan and a dedicated Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer. Students with disabilities are supported through tailored plans, adaptive technologies, and a fully accessible campus.
Innovative programs have been created, such as the Wise Wellness curriculum and The Hive, where alumnae tutors provide peer-based academic support, forming part of a broader framework that encourages self-direction in a supportive and aspirational environment. In the boarding house, shared care and strong relationships further reinforce personal responsibility and confidence.
The school educates heart, mind and spirit through a curriculum enriched with spiritual formation, service learning, leadership development, wellbeing education and career planning. Its goal is to prepare all of its young women to lead lives of courage, purpose and impact.
IQumulate invests in education and people, which are vital to attracting new business and talent to the company.
“We have long tenures for several of our key staff, including some in leadership positions, and this sound working knowledge of our business, practices and industry provides great insights and a wealth of experience to offer our clients,” says Bastow. “Our new head of sales, Graeme Gordon, formerly manager for New Zealand, joins us in Australia to drive our sales strategy and lead our team to successful outcomes for our clients and our business. We look forward to great things ahead with Graeme as he continues to be active and present in the New Zealand market as well as building sound working relationships and new connections in Australia.”
Clients can also expect a lot from working with IQumulate.
“Through active engagement with our trusted broker network, IQumulate provides relevant information, education and training content,” says Graeme Gordon, head of sales. “Our clients can expect IQumulate to support their business in several ways, providing an understanding of what premium funding solutions are available and how IQumulate can spread the cost of insurance and help borrowers get the right level of insurance cover to free up their cash flow for other expenses or business growth opportunities. Premium funding is often considered a tool for those who simply cannot afford to pay their premiums in full. While this is certainly a significant driver for many, it is also successfully used by profitable companies who use premium funding to manage their cash flows more wisely or better manage their liquidity.”
